Automated Expert Advisors

Hey guys,

I am new to trading and just started trading gold with an expert advisor provided by a company. How do you feel about these automated expert advisors?

There are thousands of them on mql5 website. The only way is to backtest and see. I'd only go for MT5, since it has a much more realistic backtesting. Another way is to think of a strategy first and then look for an EA that can perform it, or order such an EA from a programmer. Also, there are multi strategy EAs.
