Dax down 8.8%
10% fall on the Dow is 13988.

Stopped out of small FTSE trade for B/E, was over 100 to the good.
Always hate trying to hold trade's for more than 24 hour's

ASX long on Monday, may get a pull back at the open.
Stop's should be around 4680.
Then look to trade back into range of 4,720 to 4,740

Just keep an eye on weekend headlines Greece, Brazil, China, Cyprus & anything else.

hard to say if we have seen a bottom but next week is q end so i remain optimistic ....lets see if we can take back the ftse girls at 212/405...

the US well i had it to go just a bit more to the down side so maybe all markets just a wee poke down to start the week ...who knows but the US is now having a go at may's butt as well so keep an eye we could be on the slippery slope ....

not completely a bear yet but next week could confirm🙂

long term forecast still on target ...dow jones ...the high is in and we channel high /14000 til year end ....any one else?

Still very hard to trade dax dropped 2 pct with that algo driven close where as everything else closed down 1 pct in europe. Dow finished up so assuming world doesnt end this weekend fair value for dax is above 7900 sure we test 8000 early this week so i assume that is 6240 for ftse ?

The marketnhas fallen so far so fast buy unfortunatly doesnt.mean it wont continue ! Good weekend all

Hi I put a buy in on the ftse at 6171 with a limit at 6225 so I am carrying a loss at the moment, the DOW seemed fairly positive at market close last night. So I am fairly confident providing its a quiet weekend the European markets should rise on Monday morning. Just my opinion though.

I tend to agree the sell off in european markets was far worse than the states. All depends on how asia performs.and where US futures are come.monday morning. Unfortunately greece is back in the news needing more cash

So far as ftse is concerned that's true for two weeks ago, Talbs, but last week it strengthened up relative to dow after a weak Monday. It might have lost a couple of hundred points on the week, but it's about 50 or more higher than it would be had it followed the dow from Wednesday's close.

Looks to me as though it's getting reluctant for more downside (although that won't stop it if dow leads the way). Monday's open and the first half hour or so will be interesting.

ftse/dow are still divorced but at channel bottoms ...looks like ftse could drop a little more to around 6070 (picarda level 6068)....i have dow critical area 14700 for bulls...

Thanks..how does this work? sorry for an idiot question e.g. dow has 6 numbers and FTSE only 1.

FTSE pays it's div on only one day per week, close on Tuesday.

Where the rest of the global markets pay the div each working day, if there is a div.

Just noticed that I have also given the div for the following Monday, as well as this week. That would be the reason for 6 numbers(6 days).

China down over 3% on broker GDP down grades.

I closed out all my positions on Friday and I'm waiting for some snaffling opportunities. 🙂
