Ok - I'm LONG ftse (6312) - yes I know how it ended last time, "but this time its different". As they say.

Buy and hold! .... (Until my stop is hit probably.)

sellers are stepping down so it sell the pullbacks
until it not!

yes wernluck a big trend down but it has a bend and that's where we are at i think ...

same on dow 15209 needs to break... would you sell here at 15100? i have a problem with this market cause for me it has a longer term bull signal could be wrong of course but i'm still in the bull camp for now so reluctant to sell until that changes and reluctant buy til we break the levels ....

best just have a nibble...(snaffle)

if i am trading the 1 hour chart,that is the only TF i look at
if i were to add the corrective PF into the above it confirms the selling level..
not saying it will drop but selleres coupled with price hitting the median line of the pullback PF
with stops close by....what more does a trader need?

If FTSE could take out a level of sellers...around 6350
then i might think about buying a pullback as the flow will have changed.
until any sellers are bagged trend id down..imho

i put a median line on the charts this morning ..it seemed to agree with dentists p&f charts resistance area ...have a look page 3051... so a possible return to the median line carried the dow over the downward trend line at 15209...you see my thinking here?

Maybe just a different interpretation?

I'm not saying my chart is right - I'm just saying its a different view of the same data.

it is a bit hard to see what is going on in your chart
a little larger shot may be easier to see

i can see the chasnnel break and backtest..
the only problem i would have in taking a long at the backtest is
that price can creep down that lower sloping median line for quite a while
and also no one has been hurt..i.e no sellers been bagged.
Also stops would have to be under the lows?i have not got pockets that deep..
