Anyone scalping the FTSE Futures??

It's a different sector, and very different market conditions.

BUT. Supermarkets won't get shut down in '3rd Wave' lockdown, although impacted by significant Covid costs.
Also, there's rampant inflation and massive unemployment in the pipeline.
Food is a basic, but low margins on staples.

It's still well under pre-pandemic price, though, so still a bargain, on a longer view.

So, if you buy now, be prepared to hold.

:)
Only problem slight risk of a bidder definitely confirming a withdrawal and the sp dropping back 30% to pre bid price you have to bear that in mind...

In any event, after a 1/3 rd rise, it's more likely than not, the price will drop tomorrow.

But there's no certainties in this game.

Either way, it's still cheap at today's price, on a long view.

Do you think there's a good chance at least another 2 bidders might join the race?
There's a significant chance of a 'hostile' takeover bid, yes, as there are many vultures circling.

However, Brexit fallout and ongoing pandemic mania make predictions impossible.

Best you can do is trade the volatility, that is easy money.
