5338 vs 12539 at ftse close. ftse opened flat vs dow since then this morning and is still trading flat for the moment. See we're into the 8:30 reversal but not a lot of oomph in it

No it actually fell into expiry. It usually has the rally but last month and this month it has dipped. Banks can pin expiry pretty much where they want it, so it can get messy.

today we got a rally in GBPUSD and the facebok ipo, may improve spirits.

is G8 important?

i think the markets are hoping G8 will push the central banks to make a coordinated effort.. plus looks like the greek far left are being edged out.... facebook indic +20% is crazy !!
