Anyone scalping the FTSE Futures??

Dont fight it , market doesnt want to go down yet, need to wait till May guys , you know how it works !

Our view is that there may be some early selling around, but after that dries up and the markets go quiet the ESM will start to drift higher again. There is a boatload of buy stops that start above 1589.70 up to 1596. As always, keep an eye on the 10-handle rule and please use stops when trading futures.

Good Old TopStep, these boys are rarely wrong, looking for 1600 S&P by month end ! buy buy buy !

month doesn't end til tuesday so may have to wait for a new high ...need to recalc if we don't get one...

this for ftse

Markets will be trading on A) month end extentions and B) Hopium of ECB rate cut Thursday , when this is out the way could see some selling !

Thing is with the ECb they never do anything without pre warning the market, reckon it could be more like June ! This afternoon has been super boring wishy washy trading !

yep ECB are masters,

might be worth short euro long dax tomorrow into the announcement

Big point gains for the week.
Italian new government should see a positive start for Monday.

Hong Kong looks like it's in a sweet spot also, could the DOW now be the weak link.

Have a look at the Nikkei 225 on a monthly chart, amazing moves.
Guess it will end in tears one day.

I've read some of Al Brooks's stuff and he seems to be doing a lot of trades per day. He trades the ES and not the FTSE, which maybe offers fewer trades.

Did you ever try to scalp the ES from the UK? or is it pretty inconvenient due to the fact that you might be trading in US$ whilst your account in the UK is in GBP?

Are you still using the Open ECry platform? Would you recommend it or have you found a better option in the last few years?

Thanks!!

Morning all !

Markets looking punchy this morning, trend still technically up, but i cant buy it here, think im going to wait to sell some breaks, funny how eurusd is up on the italian election but will come off ahead of this potential rate cut.

ASX very strong.
Leaving long orders overnight, hope to see some weakness in the DOW session.
Which should give me the chance to get some long's on ASX and FTSE.
FTSE only 2.9 div this week and DOW only 1.7 on Thursday.
China is on a 3 day holiday.
