I think you are right, if we look into advertisers integrity/previous convictions and honesty of the advert then virtually none will pass the test. I'm not sure there are too many 'safe' ones. Yes there are some that havnt been caught (yet) but I wouldn't call them safe.

I think this was the idea behind seeking soft sponsors, those not related to finance, in very much the same way that sport had to when tobacco and alcohol became unacceptable.
