I think the business model requires a good supply of dumb people. I mean none of us are going to buy any of the crap the advertisers are selling. The dumb are also much less likely to ask awkward questions about fines and other dodgy practices.

Whilst they may have posted quality stuff, they also did some weird stuff warranting banning.

There seems to be some kind of belief that if you post something even remotely useful, it gives them some right to be offensive as well.
