Help Can anyone suggest how to stop pop-ups appearing. Everytime I open a web page a get a new browser with a related site. This seems ten times worse than usual. Have I inadvertently downloaded something on my PC? I have checked my Anti-Virus software and cannot see any options to block...

Dont really understand what you mean. For each trade you take another person will take the other side. If your short somebody else will be long.

I think you can only reclaim VAT if the 'business' has vatable supplies as well as exempt supplies. i.e. if the business only dealt in futures trading the input tax recovery would be blocked.

I had the same problems last night and this morning (on Stand Alone TWS) I was able to log on using browser based TWS. Dont know what the problem is though. Cheers Spoon

Try NQ03U for Nasdaq 100 futures (for use with q charts of quote.com). Not sure you can get futures prices using Livecharts (free version).

Sorted Thanks to all for their help. Believe it or not the biggest problem was the modem configuration. The wireless networking was a doddle after that! I can now trade from the bottom of the garden (providing we get somemore sun!) Cheers Spoon

Managed to get onto httpxxxxxxxx by connecting modem directly to PC. However I should get a screen asking if I my ISP requires a username/password (which it does) but I have no option for this it goes straight ontoVPI and VCI inputs. Cheers Spoon

Techies please help I'm going out of my mind! I have just purchased Wireless Broadband Router, PCI Card and Laptop Card and a Netgear ADSL Modem (with Ethernet and USB connections). I think I have set up the router OK. The problem comes when connecting to the net. I cannot get a connection...

Steve Dont forget this is a zero-sum game. Commercials being long will mean that large traders and retail will be net short. I note that Commercials had been net short on the run-up since mid-March!
