But these stocks with certain charecter like FSLR GMCR etc... always move like they move and im not talking about news and earnings etc.. They always move in their special way compared to other stocks... I know that the market isn't the only thing that moves the stocks but i don't understand...

Thank you for this detailed explanation! So basically if the market suddenly drops fast it is usually a large MARKET sell order that has been processed right? or of course a point broken that hit alot of stop orders right?

So what makes the price sometimes go down strong when there is a big seller? (and the same question about a big buyer)

If there is a buyer with a limit for lets say the price of 25.15 and he has a very large lot which means he can take alot of sellers from the ASK right? but from what i know the big buyer has a limit for a certain price so how come he takes out sellers from various prices?

For example on the last friday many stocks worked great for the up side when the market opened but the s&p500 was negative at first, so what exactly drove most stocks to the upside? Could it have something with the fact that we gapped down at the open?
