Not today my friend as nasdaq > 2190 ........add in the exogenous variable of OBAMA's tax cuts and Ireland budget being passed, and you have yourself a very nice short covering rally !!

not organic rally hence sell off at end off of both US/European sessions

I managed to make + 60 on FTSE shorts and + 65 on euro short

so 100 ++++ day never the less with the subscribers

FTSE latest update

encountered resistance @ previous trend line , double top does look inevitable as a text book reversal but lower high here @ 75% fib retrace is possible too

as day traders we just react with the market but keep the larger picture in mind

This is the analysis I sent to subscribers today, this is the way i trade

It may give new traders a good insight

Re: Wallstreet1928 Analysis & live calls on FTSE,DAX,S&P...aimed to help New traders

Fundamentals remains the same as mentioned earlier

my bias was short euro , with possibility of oil pull back due to US dollar support
The oil rally was a fake out > $89.5 ...which is a very bearish signal
Chinese rate hike rumour over weekend is having an impact, not to mention Ireland budget around 19.00 today
silver and copper under pressure
US dollar has pending golden cross
Chinese Hang Seng has H&S on daily which should trigger over night

Technicals

Daily chart - Daily candle has a large tail indicating buyers lost momentum towards the latter half of the trading session

10 mins

1. 20 MA < 200 MA

2. HH & HL negated , now LL and LH

3. fib retrace resistance @ 50-61%

60 mins

1. look to retest previous resistance = support @ 5780 region , before the golden cross has its affect to move market higher

Hello Wallstreet - me too please. I've been looking at your thread, but can't read all 2,500+ comments since 2008. Some pointers would be good if that's ok. Thanks very much, Jim.

FTSE 100 - as started a few days back still stuck @ 75% Fib retrace, a doji followed by a shooting star today ... indicating bearish reversal patterns !! Watch out for Chinese data tonight

FTSE 100 - trend line - previous support = resistance ...no confirmation above 75% Fib retrace. Doji, Shooting star, spinning top .....topping patterns !!

It all depends on the gap up/gap down post chinese data reaction over the weekend

Light volume float up day

China potential hike ignored ..........

fake out on euro

US indices stalled due to semiconductors and dow transports

Re: Wallstreet1928 Analysis & live calls on FTSE,DAX,S&P...aimed to help New traders

FTSE 100 - taken out 75% even with oil stagnant, whilst the DAX stalled and put in a Doji.

5900 is inevitable now according to Bullowski exmination/observation

$EURUSD: The revised Moody's outlook on Belgium to negative has been weighing on the Euro into the North American open.
