I am happy. This market is obese, needs to shed some weight. Bring on our grizzly bear cousins with black swans flying around.
LOL.

I have a reasonable expectation that the FTSE wont get through 4900 for a little bit longer (famous last words), but the DJ I did have pegged for 10,220-ish before falling back. If it doesn't finish above 9500 today. I'll be drawing up some new lines.

Time will tell.

I was bullish last night on FTSE indices but now I am not

this is my only conern on the FTSE and we could get a powerful fall today down to ????

why ?

4900 key level

strategy for today

> 4895 and we get confirmation ....bullish and we trade back to 4925 and above

< 4895 ....carry on following downward trendline......bearish ....

1st target on downside would be gap fill 4855 .......then we get a bounce

2nd target pink trendline , pivot S2 and 50 MA @ 4830

3rd target 4800

Merry Xmas....................ho ho ho !!!

we hit 4855 and then we bounce to the ounce ..........

ho ho ho .........

do forgive for my poor attempt to do some freestyle rapping

sold Clean Energy Brazil (CEB) for the second time this week for another 11% return on my position, although i think i've sold too early this time as it looks like a nice breakout could be happening...oh well, never mind!

good to hear a happy Dr Blix ........

I am long nasdaq 1624 ..stop loss 1599

I have bought one contract and I will buy two more anywhere in the region of 1610 - 1620

target 1650

Out of all my shorts at BE.
Long SP500 at 1024 target 1034 for now. Think this is the start of next up move...

Nikkei fails to hold above 10, 600 ....bearish sign for equities

Been thinking this about asia for over a week now as part of a larger move. I still figure sp500 could reach 1050 before it does feel the tide change.
A spike up preceding a steep gradient down would be typical imo, this market will not go quietly into the night :p

yes,exactly

Cool let me know when you are selling them. Meanwhile, any tips on trading setups for FTSE? I have forward tested a few and got mixed results. Main problem is drawdowns. Recently I have been trying to correct my mistakes of closing profits too soon, but eventually trades turned against me.. Today's short example on breaking 4885 - classic case.

Will really appreciate your help. Btw, guys if any of you are in London, I am organising a meetup in canarywharf on 24th September - 6pm onwards. So far 8 ppl are coming, let me know if any of you are interested as well.
