FTSE Out 4770 + 15.

i have a Channel at about 4780 and will look to short off the bounce next.

DAX seems to have larger range than FTSE every day,

FTSE 57 range
DAX 79 range

R2 4782 coincides with trendline

if market trades below 4770 then bull flag violated
and then I will scalp to short to 4750

Chart of the day: Will the Dollar Index reassert the downtrend?

The recent bout of uncertainty has been wiped out by the latest FOMC meeting. Investors utilised the Fed’s bullish economic assessment to pile back into the market, sending the S&P500 Index above the pyschological 1,000 level again. The reviving risk appetite also dampened appeal of the DollarIndex.

Technically, the dollar index remains on a medium-term the downtrend in spite of the recent rebound. It continues to submerge beneath the 50-day moving average. So it is possible that the dollar could drift back down to 78 in due course. A short US$ position may be taken on further weakness.
