Afternoon Traders...
Interesting day today, lets see what the `US of Aiiiiii`... brings us today.

Managed to get about 12 points on FTSE this morning, busy running about and setting trades with target and stop. Waiting for US and bag afew points hopefully.

Stopped at 3555 so 50 point profit taken. Am currently watching a buying set-up though.....

Traded the ADP payroll news. £20 a point and managed 8 points.

I've now turned my attention to the S&P and US Light Crude for the rest of the afternoon.....

Will 3600 hold or not? My money is for short.
Exit (SL) would be for Dax 3815 and FTSE 3625.

Actually still keeping short of DAX...

Im getting the sense that we're seeing a very nervous market where everyone is too scared to believe we'vre seeing a short term bounce and won't go long in case they get caught out!!

I agree. I keep get conflicting signals on my 10min.

Just wait for the Brown speech and short the life out of it!

That's a terrible thing to say. I thought the markets always rallied when he opened his mouth ;-)

170 pts in the bag need to reduce postion slightly..... at an average of £4k
Cutting the futures down as there margin screwed me with overnight rates ( $500 day trade ( SPX , DOW, NDX or $19000 over night )

Need to know your views wallstreet M8 , do I keep on or close

710 is proving to be a hard nut to crack on S&P........

GE is putting a cap on any gains at present

S&P 710 gets broken then upto 720 we go and take whole market with it!!

Dow 6840 intraday resistance needs to be broken........ and we are on the verge of that?

Nasdaq at intraday high..............

May I comend your thoughts as we may think alike re trading as best to watch the movers for toatal market direction, its good when it a large sector too, GE is a brilliant indicator as it as its fingers in many pies.
