Looking over past position sizing, I have come to the conclusion that I need to reduce position size to about 1/3 of current, to be able to handle the greater trading range.

This will be continued until trading range narrows from upper hundred pip Stops to lower hundred pip Stops.
This foreseeably (narrow pip range) may not return though, this greater pip range could just represent the 'new' global market of FX. Who knows.

Hello Casaccia, hope all is well. You should be happy sitting on a +900 pip gain already this week. Even though you have almost met your 1000 pips that you purchased from me, I still recommend holding the positions untill the end of the week, they could clear many pips more.
Also be aware that I have also lowered size in ratio to pip range.

The positions are entered once a week. The balance recorded above is since 10/08/09, as a reference point.
The entire thread was started on 22/09/06 I believe, and will show a profit over the entire past two years.

I've come to the conclusion that no one really cares to trade. Everyone thinks they want to trade, but no one wants to assume the risk.
There's 133,000 supposed traders, yet after years of trading I can't direct anyone to another profitable trader besides myself. There's alot of talk about profitable trades, but I don't believe it. I don't think there's even one other person that can trade on here.

I'm sitting here everyday, putting on positons every week, yet I don't even get one question from anyone.

Is this the amount of determination you have? Are you going to blame my attitude for your unwillingness to even try?

What do you expect? I have out-lasted over 40 FX brokerages, yeah I have some thick skin, but certainly you wouldn't expect anything else would you?

Seriously, what are you guys waiting for? Are you awaiting risk free pips to be presented to you on a silver plater?

In a situation where 99.99% of everyone perishes, your asking to much of me then.

I need dedicated people that are a 100% commited, if that's not you, you might as well quit right now.

,because I need bad ass people.

How could I be so foolish to endevour such a narrow, shallow, foolish career.

Nobody cares about anything improtant. Even if someone did care about something, odds are there to lazy to do anything about it.

Looking over my situation, if I was dealing in building materials in a market where 99.99% of people were going out of business, I'd have no one to sell materials to or anyone needing to buy materials.

New conclusion; there is no FX market.

There may be 2Trl 'moving' around, but there's no real market for it.

Well, four of them are still open. USd/chf hit it's stop at 1,1321 5

Either way, I'm still on top.

dont fret, DT. its not you.
I think people are reluctant to ask you perhaps, because you may not have outlined your method. If you look at Capt Currency, or trader-dantes thread, they describe a method.
the fact that others then come along and use it differently shows the dilemmas of teaching. (apologies if you have outlined your system - I havent read it)
The fact you have been around for quite some time, and survived ups and downs, shows your method is robust, but newbies want immediate results.
Your method is ideal of people who want to dip their toes in the water and still have a day job. and perhaps they only come to T2W intermittently.
but most here are day-traders, who cannot countenance sitting through a deep drawdown. and probably trade many times a day.
even danarms thread is about a few trades in the morning across multiple instruments.

if you're looking for investors, perhaps collective2 would be a better place.

but here, I think, most want to KNOW why a trade is placed, not just given what may amount to black-box signals.

as for how many here are actual traders, I did point out in a long-old post that most arrive here as eager newbies, but once they find something they like, cotton onto it, and make it work, T2W becomes a social site, since they have learnt what they wanted, are building their profitability, have found their niche, and just come here for the fun.

as for not one profitable trader (assume for the moment I lose money every day, and live on a large legacy left to me by a deceased millionaire uncle, and I fritter my time all day on T2W for the past 16 months), wasp, trader_dante, Captain Currency, GammerJammer, DC2000, brutusdog, options, rols, zupcon, etc.
