Mmmmmmmmmm,
Because of the new names and POWER positions of the mods.

How many draw a salary from T2W? How many are paid by T2W?
(Only the mods can answer).

2) How many of the mods are PROFITABLE traders?
(Only the mods can answer).

Although I have asked that only the mods answer, that will not be the case will it.
I also know that question 2 will take precedence over the other.
And indeed that you do not have to be a full time trader (all the time) to be profitable.
This is not a presumptuous post, or intended to be mocking in any way.
But if someone is advising you or trying to control you, shouldn't they be the best in the game?
(Flood gates open)

Thought it'd be more important that they have suitable forum experience than trading experience to be a forum official, paid or otherwise... besides, how do you know if they're lying or not?

Who would you call a Trader..?....

Someone who sits all day in front of 6 screens and can't afford to fart in case he/she misses a trade...?

OR

...Someone who now does nothing at all....and just - occasionally buys and sells - for cigar money....!

....Point of the matter is that people 'Trade' to make money....but then many probably have no need to make money anymore and enjoy the life of leisure....

...So I have no ****ing desire to be a so called 'Trader'......!...As apparent definition goes...!

No moderators are paid a salary.

And good luck getting any answer at all to question 2 - expect drivel like the above

hi options

not sure what or who you are getting at really, but seeing as you mention "mods" specifically i will tell you how it is, as i see it.

while we have a new names or titles this is just a differential thing and has not brought with it any increased "powers" as you have put things. our tools are no different than they have always been, our function within the site and our mod guide is exactly the same as its always been, although this guide was recently rewritten by nika (community manager). the difference is merely the introduction of forum moderators, who have volunteered to help out and have been allocated forums to moderate.

please note i said volunteer! we are volunteers! if there are any on the pay roll then i want to know what happened to my cut.

 sadly i am not a profitable trader yet, bit of a miserable failure i am on this thus far. pour scorn on me if you wish, i can take it, honest.

have a good new year mate :D

ps i have used my almighty "powers" to shift this thread over to feedback.

More like it's they cannot afford a fart in case they have an accident :D

As an aside, I take it you're aware that members who post more than 2000 posts a year get commission?

Actually 1000/annum is enough, but the commission is minimal... it was enough to buy myself a nice t shirt for xmas this time around.

I salute your honesty. I see you have been a member here for six years. You do not seem terribly concerned that you are not yet a successful trader. Do you still aspire, or is the subject of trading now a side interest which holds your mild curiosity from time to time? Do you believe that discussion on these forums is the best route to success?
