VDM Markets ?

yes, they are ok. pretty rubbish spreads. fast to offer the bonus.

def not for scalping.

im using them at moment signed up a few days ago deposited yesterday, so far Im liking the relative simplicity of opening and closing the trades, im trying to scalp the ftse with it might have to knock that on the headdue to the three tik spread and yesterday i placed a few trades on the dow which was pretty stupid considering the spread on thats over 20. Just emailed them and am waiting for the £200 quid bonus :) margins a bit high aswell compared to a few other companies aswell i think. Also over the weekend I had a query about deposits and sent an email and got a quick phonecall response in the morning which was good. Based in sweden and my bank queried the deposit for some reason so am hoping i wont get any hidden charges for changing £200 in 2500 of what ever they use over there.

oh yeah another feature of platform i noticed was an equity curve and a diary to fill in like a trading log which looked pretty nifty.

so all in all pretty similar feeling to phills above but slightly more baffling by me :D

yes, they are okay.

yep my kinda logic :D

bare this in mind though :

The Match Bonus can only be withdrawn from the account if at least 3 months have elapsed from the time the bonus was awarded and if at least 10 opening trades have been placed on the account.

you have to do minimum £1per point to qualify to withdraw the bonus. no suspicious trades eitehr.

as in going long ftse. take profit 1pip. do that ten times and you wont be qualified.

I have been trading with them for a year through the Swedish outfit. Great execution model, must be one of the best out there. I just wish the spread on some of the instrument was a little bit better. However, they are offering 3-4 spread on the Dow Rolling daily and 2 spread on the S&P Rolling daily. I haven't found any problem at all with slippage as proclaimed by PhilKill08.

I tried to withdraw the bonus included, I couldn't - going to go back and read the T&C again.

I guess there is not a thing such as a free lunch.:)

I sign on before they offered this bonus, it is understandable that the bonus it is attached to some kind of performance in trading.

just traded to fade ftse tanking. they slip you massively....

I've been using them for a month and, overall, no major complaints. I trade GBP/JPY and they offer a 6 pt. spread which is better than any other SB. On this particular pair, you can trade as low as 8p per pt., if you wish to.

I haven't noticed any major slippage and the fills have been spot on. That's my experience with them but, I may have been lucky. The only niggle that I have is that, sometimes, the dealing window doesn't activate instantly. It may need a 2nd click to fire the trade.

Read them, I have to wait 2 more months before it turns into real credit

Seems reasonable to have to wait a couple of months for your money, Phil. After all, you're not a needy cause, like a national bank or a car manufacturer.:)

Great journal, btw. Do you only use SB, though?
