Nearly end of another year. Prepping for the new year and possibilities.

What are experiences of those you have YT channel? (been reading/watching Peter Princes thread)
How many have a myfxbook (or equivalent) account?

Are you monetized? Is it worth it? Is it worth monetizing if you feel you have a good enough strategy?
How long does it take to get a big enough following to justify YT/myfxbook as a possible resource?

My personal feelings are that people want you to "perform" daily to give the illusion of action, when a multi-day trade is a better bet.
And this subverts good trading styles, where sometimes doing nothing is better.

Maybe I should just take up gardening. Or painting. (landscapes, not walls.)

Do you ever get the feeling that most books on trading are not telling the whole truth in case their pet strategy is uncovered ?
So we are left with bland statements and no sure fire method.

Yeah. :)
The more I thought about what I had written, I realised I would only reveal my "B" game. :)
Except on MyFXbook, where you don't have to explain your reasoning, just clinical entries / exits, etc.

Hi Trendie: No my Youtube channel is not monetized.
I have a total of 38 subscribers and 4,000 views of ALL my 40 odd video clips
What's funny is that my posting of an associate that fought in the Liberian Civil War and knew of
General BUTT Naked has the most views on my channel!

I put the video on as way back when I was discussing some of my trading activity it was all in written form. Things have moved on now with Youtube and I believe that it's good to show how other people approach the market , how they make or lose money etc.

The Principle reason for posting was to share with other Traders a realistic stylised videos of a Day Trader's Journey. I don't promote Lamborghini's , trading signals or trader sort forums.

It would be nice to grow the Channel but not in a way like some of these Posters. Many of them don't actually talk about trading or show their trades or results. It seems that the more subscribers and views the less actual trading is being done.

There was one "Trader" Challenging other YouTube "Traders" which I thought was total BS. I made a list of the Trader Channel's on Youtube that I respect and believe are genuine, they are as follows:

1. Trader Dante - A No BS no slick marketing just good wisdom on young shoulders.
2. Steve Ruffley - Another no BS Trader who actually knows how to trade :
3. Johnathan Rose - A No BS Trader who like to two above actually knows how to trade as a pro : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCa5hPmX8-q03fxDYLi9XM7w
4. Trader Benoist Rousseau - A No BS Trader who unlike many actually shows his P&L while trading; https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCVwAJZzan5BRkOb3DdJBi-Q
5. Koko Petkov is phenomenal in terms of his development as a trader and his showmanship : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCB_f7jesmIVXtgN6DEUnfCA
6.Rob Booker Some BS but Knows how to trade and how to market his Youtube site https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqm0C4tjIbdIJQH7Em5GStg
7. NoBS Trading, was reccommended to me while I was on the trading floor , he is superb but not much content ; https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCW-m-lEeboc7OQ8pNTuWpBg
8. Anton Kreil another top Trader who has done brilliantly on his courses & social Media. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcgaoWXUKFl-P3rdNXCuWjg
9. FTSE100TRADER a modest but effective trader : https://www.youtube.com/user/FTSE100TRADER/videos
10. Jigsaw Trading ; Quality information: https://www.youtube.com/user/jigsawtrading/videos There is another on that I cannot find it's an African American woman who trades penny stocks .
