Working Lunch trading shares item

So far a very flippant approach- typical of the light weight programme.

8 minutes of BBC time(forget 5 years to become a Doctor etc) and I'm away as a fully fledged profitable share trader.

Who keeps on saying it is difficult?

And there was I thinking that the secret to trading was hard work and analysis...when the real answer is just having good luck. lol

Next week-- How To Become A Doctor in 15 Minutes.

Do people really beleive it or is it meant to taken as light entertainment?

Also talk of 14 shares being sufficient diversification....

However, the punter talked of having both mmo2 and BT

Yet no one made a comment about correlation of shares held.

But then we are talking complexity.

No talk of money management

No talk of the psychology of trading on your own

I could go on.

More lambs to the slaughter...

The real question I ask myself is how few minutes are required to be a Financial TV reporter?

All answers appreciated.

Virtually nil

They are merely presenters moving from one subject to another as contracted, sport today, finance tomorrow, holiday programme the day after. Read the script board , smile, appear as if you know what you are talking about, take the money and laugh all the way to the bank. Oh and keep your nose clean. no sex, drugs etc to spoil the image or if you do make sure no one finds out.
