Assuming that they have developed the power of time travel by the time they 'retreive' you, I would rather be retreived to collect my $39bn and the return back to now. Would be far to much to learn from 500 years development to enjoy yourself. Probobly banned sex as well, which would upset FC.

You don't need to pay 'up front'. Just wait a bit...
Wait until 'they' develop Time Travel 'then' and can come back to 'now' to market it to 'us'.
It'll be so cheap by 'then' that you wont have to pay the up-front R&D costs 'now'.

I am planning a legal case againt them for my share of $39b, claiming that in the future they have invented time travel and they have taken my money, I can back this up by calling the director(or whoever is in charge) of the company from 500 years in the future as a witness. When he fails to turn up, that will be proof that they have stolen my money and never had any intention of coming back to retrieve me. If they hadn't stolen my money, they would have at least made an appearance in court.
