hi guys im new to spread betting and have recently opened an account with capital spreads.what do you think of them.ive read some bad reviews, but overall most seem to think their the best in the uk.can anyone tell me if theres a better firm i should go with or just stick with capital spreads?

If you are swinging, it should not matter because spreads + fill speed isn't too big an issue
If you are scalping or doing very short term trades regulary I would suggest you try and go for a company with small spreads + fast fills (1pip
). Im sure someone on the site can talk about CS - i don;t have any experience with them.

There are many opions about all companies if you read through most you will see CS have a resonable following and one of their guys has a thread on hereb to answer questions. CMC seem to be very good overall. I had no problems with them and their spreads are as good as any. As has been mentioned if your swing trading there wont be much difference so either one will do. Scalping is better with some form of direct access
