Which moving average do You prefer?

So many to choose: SMA (simple) , EMA (exp), KAMA, TEMA, TMA, VMA, WMA, ... ?

At least VMA (Variable Moving Average) seem to be interesting ( not used it anyway).

the secret to using MAs is to ensure you have the correct colour for the line, since they work better if they are set to Turquoise.

For anyone that requires indicators, those offered by Jurik Research are among the best I've come across, but they are expensive. Then again, if you need indicators, you may as well use the best you can find. This product guide covers their main offerings:

Since I read the Cornflower threads on ForexFactory I have been using the 24, 12 and 8.

I use them on all TFs although Cornflower uses hourly.

It does not matter, though, does it, providing there is a sensible spread of averages? Watch the whipsaws on the low TFs, though.
