Which moving average do You prefer?

as a trend showing. (not to show strength of a trend as there are other indikators for those)

So many to choose: SMA (simple) , EMA (exp), KAMA, TEMA, TMA, VMA, WMA, ... ?

At least VMA (Variable Moving Average) seem to be interesting ( not used it anyway).
 
you missed out HMAs. (Hull Moving Averages)

the secret to using MAs is to ensure you have the correct colour for the line, since they work better if they are set to Turquoise.

Thanks, Now I got the point, my fainted Orange was boring....

Since I read the Cornflower threads on ForexFactory I have been using the 24, 12 and 8.

I use them on all TFs although Cornflower uses hourly.

It does not matter, though, does it, providing there is a sensible spread of averages? Watch the whipsaws on the low TFs, though.
