Hi Baz79

Not just the dow by the looks of things. This taken from www.briefing.com

08:00 ET S&P futures vs fair value: -7.3. Nasdaq futures vs fair value: -15.0.
The futures market is lower in tune with the overseas markets, where the European bourses are down -0.9-1.4% and the Asian exchanges are down -0.1-1.3%. Contributing to the weakness are earnings reports, deemed as disappointing by traders, including those from AMZN and MRK. Also cited for the lackluster tone is the weaker dollar against the euro and the yen
Not that it matters - trade what you see ;)

i have seen posts on here for some time about the fact the markets are about to tumble - and for sure at some point they will - but as anyone who has been a determined shorter of late has learnt - its better to wait for it to turn and then join the train -than stand in front of the train

for sure any closes below 9600 look good for the bears, but any closes above 9700 are gonna be good for the bulls - and no one can, or ever has predicted what its gonna do on a continuous basis - ever - so you just trade with the trend and make the bucks either way

agreed, but it's interesting that gold has shot up in the last couple of days and the dollar is struggling badly today in particular. Feels like a an interesting day coming on?

yep - anything that makes you feel volatility is coming is good, since trading can be pretty numbing at times and you sometimes need an impetus to keep focused - but just ride the key trend
