Any Gilt traders here?

Anyone actively trading the Gilt Future here?
I've been trading it recently but it feels a lonely game as noone else seems to do it!
If so do you know the reason for the rapid drop and rise yesterday afternoon? I am guessing a large sell order but it seems to have been extraordinarily badly executed if so.....

No idea, as no figures out yesterday, short sterling was dead. Why do you trade Gilts rather than the more liquid IR's? Is there plenty of free money?

Hi,
Just trying different things at present. Was doing OK in Dax but recently have had trouble trading intraday so looking at different markets.
Bunds seem very full of jobbers so Gilts seemed logical alternative mkt.
It trends OK but sometimes seems to move crazily without any obvious news which is when it feels lonely wondering what has just happened.....like yesterday, drops 30 ticks in 2 mins and then rises again to where it was.

What other IR products are you trading?
Jobbing or taking a slightly longer view?
