Yes, WAG refers to the Wives And Girlfriends of the England Team. Who seem to have spent more time inthe papers over the last few weeks than the Team themselves.

What made me chuckle the first time I heard it was the dictionary definition of a WAG is a facetious person - rather apt, I thought.

Believe it or not there are mens pradas as well.
Prada shoes or trainers where quite stylish until footballers and their missus started wearing them. I could wear mine as trainers or shoes so i could still go clubing after the pub. Think im gonna bin them now tho!

I recall reading somewhere that the term wag is now being used more generally and is the new chav. Whether you be male or female.
