Not everybody wants to or is even interested in making a live call and I respect any individual decision who prefers not to.

However, I have a major issue, with traders, who mark them themselves up a expert traders and provide fuzzy edged areas were a trade will be taken and some time after that event has happened, claim to have made xx number of pips/points and refuse everybody's call to identify when the trade was entered and exited the market or even confirm that any trade has actually taken place.

So, (out of interest), what do you perceive to be the requirements of a live call.

OPTION 1.

1) Enter the time you placed the trade (within 1 minute of taking the trade)
2) Specify the price you entered the trade at
3) Stop Loss level, eg 10, 20 or none.
4) Limit level target or
5) Exit strategy if your limit isn't acheived.
6) Show a screenshot of your entry from your blotter for confirmation of your claim

OPTION 2

1) Identify target areas, eg: long above X levels or short below X level
2) Never confirm the entry price you achieved when you executed the trade.
3) Claim you made X pips/points from trading No 1 above
4) Never state stops or limits
5) Never under any circumstances provide evidence of your claim
6) Continue to claim your an expert.

Be interesting to see the outcome, thanks for participating. Regards, Rob

I will gladly make some LIVE CALLS on this thread - NO PROBLEM

First of all though - you have made a classic mistake on the 2 option choices you have given - as I use both and will explain

With Option 1

1 - as you will soon see - my trades are 95% of the time taken at 6 times within the 60 minute period - within 30 secs either way. All my proper follower know this. Only the herd and the dissers don't seem to have understand this

2.Price you entered the trade is always AFTER the call for a short term trader.

I might say scalp buy at 2287 which I am in now - but when I take the trade I might have positive or negative slippage and be 1 or 2 pips either way

It does not matter for most swing traders - time and price within a few mins or price is then not paramount

3. ALL MY TRADES ARE WITH STOPS OF UNDER 7 PIPS - AND UNDER 5 PIPS ON EU / GU / EJ / AU / CAD.

Thats set in stone - so many non followers have always said I have not said stop size ? Does it matter when you are talking either 3 pips or 5 pips ??

Plus the fact it rare to be stopped out - ie one click exit asap if its not working

4 Evidence of trades as now been supplied by Major Magnum. You will never ever get my own profit I make . That's private and confidential. I am not selling anything - so NO

5 I am an Expert Retail FX Intraday Trader - FULL STOP - and I will tells you now there are not many about at all and if there are others then - they need a minimum 3 yrs Full time live trading under their belt . I easily pass that one

By the way 2 mins later my EU live trade is now at 2301 at 2 53pm

OK

Will go through Option 2 parts next

Regards

Option 2

OK - this is when I agree with TAR

Its a shame but the 2 options need to be revised

OK time now 2 58 pm - My favourite time of the day next 9 mins :)

I am not a entry price - stop price - exit target price trader

Simple matter

But how many other bloggers explain to the followers all the clues - ie the LR chart - the levels the Time windows - the 6 key times every 60 mins - the 30 min high low rules etc etc

Why was 3 00 pm imprtant - well look at EU now

I trade interim tops and bottoms every day of the week and normally over 75% accurate

Maybe I should try it on indices

While I have been typing this Rob and other members

I made 13 pips on a EU scalp buy and then so far 11 pips on a scalp sell

so 24 pips in under 15 mins

Need I go on ????

Pointless reply, still no indication you entered a trade, just words after the event.

Its just the same old same old.

yes, we can all mark up charts. They're as useful as your 'word' when it comes to evidence of a trade having been taken
Does your broker not have a feature where by it marks up the executions on your chart at least?

FoMo,
Do us all a favour - think of it as a token of seasonal goodwill and confine yourself to the topic of the thread. It's very clear and unambiguous: What constitutes a "LIVE TRADING CALL"
Thanking you kindly!
Tim.

IMHO

I suggest to edit his thread's title by deleting : Live , Calls , Trading , Expert , Forex , Trader ...

"Intraday Live short term trading calls from an Expert Retail Forex Trader"
