In fact - make a point of watching this film.

Apart from the array of names in it and the side-splittingly funny cameos, the entire work is a piece of art.

I didn't realise until today what parallel it holds with trading...

A black comedy (or outright comedy depending on your political awareness) of the American political system. Actually, not just American, it just used that as the theme.

Robert de Niro's persuasive dialogue with the CIA should be mandatory viewing for all on how things work - or could work.

Incredible use of power and language and psychology - all done so well.

You can tell I like the film.

I rarely rave on this sort of topic, but it is so relevant. And IMHO a worthwhile investment of 89 minutes.

Bramble

I caught this film some years ago. From what I remember, a few months after it's release Clinton launched a missle strike on Afghanistan right in the thick of the Monica Lewinsky thing.

Misdirection perhaps........truth is stranger than fiction (or not so fiction!)

Hoffman was excellent....."I want my credit!"...think he had the best lines.
