US and UK ETFs

Hi

I have taken advantage of the rise of the $ and transferred my US $ money to the UK and excahanged to sterling. Now I have a problem: my UK broker (SelfTrade) will only allow me place market orders on the my beloved US ETF (e.g. IYR, DBC, SPY, DBA, TLT, ...) Also, I can't short them.

So, is there a UK broker that will allow me to deposit sterling and place limit and stop orders for US ETFs?

By the way, I am not interested in Interactive Brokers...

TD Waterhouse, ODL and iDealing are three that I know that allow a variety of order types on US ETFs.

TDW charge a hefty commision for foriegn stocks.

In the end I went with Interactive Brokers.

I checked TDW and they quote £12.50 flat online rates for UK and International stocks

By the way I would go with IB but you can't trade through a SIPP or ISA
