I'll give you one basic tenet...take the money from the private wealth creator and give it to the public distributor to apportion and it will result in a 'poor' trade. There is little that the public sector can do as well as the private sector except waste money at which point they become world beaters ! Which of course is my single biggest objection to big govt...the bigger it gets...the bigger it's inefficiency becomes in terms of the gulf between what we the private sector can do and what it the public sector can do given the same amount of money to utilise. The waste just keeps getting bigger and we just keep getting more and more uncompetitive.
I only want to see one public sector official..the prme minister in charge of taking public sector redundancy notices. Like parasites on a dogs back
