Just to underline the point Tim, if you recall from the 9/11 thread that ran here some while G.Bush said the axis of evil was Iraq, Syria and Iran. On that aircraft carrier if you remember when he said it was over.

America had such high hopes from Trump, bringing peace and prosperity back to the US. Instead his had his ego cressed by Israel and has become a tool for the war machine.

My understanding At' is that the Iranians will only do this as a last resort as it will - likely as not - crash the world economy, Including China's. And they badly want and need to keep the Chinese on side. That said, you are quite right, Trump can't blow up Fordow (assuming the 'bunker buster' bomb works) and think there won't be any consequences. Surely he's not that stupid? ;-)

As an aside, some unconfirmed reports I've heard suggest that the Chinese are already providing kit to the Iranians. If, as expected, the Israelis run out of interceptor missiles in the next week or two, then there will be little to stop Iranian missiles hitting their targets in Israel, especially if they can replenish their stocks with help from the Chinese and Russia. If that happens - a big IF I know - then all this talk of regime change might come home to roost for Netanyahu and it might be that it's his government that folds and not Iran's. Pure speculation on my part, obviously, but the world so needs to be shot of Netanyahu who, I think we can agree, should see out the rest of his days behind bars.
