The number of Leopard 1 tanks might be 88 or 29 or somewhere in between.
Germany adds older Leopard 1s to the list of tank for Ukraine.
An older model than the already approved Leopard 2, the tanks will need refurbishment and could face ammunition shortages.

About casualties...
It is extremely unlikely that Ukranians have more casualties than Russians.
If it were that way the situation on the map would be very different.
Maps and common sense tell that Ukranians casualties are between 1/3 and 2/3 of Russian casualties.
When Ukraine lost Severodonetsk Zelensky declared 100-200 casualties per day, I trust that figure.
In the meantime Russians never declared more than 10k casualties, so their credibility is close to zero.

There is not a bit of evidence for your believe.
Ukrainian causualities were always a multiple of the Russian value.
Last time (a very few months ago) U.S. published BS about Russian causualities published everywhere by MSM they were very silent after Russia published the truth of less than 6k against Ukraine more than 50k.
Same Western provokation this time by publishing nonsense about Russian causualities by U.S. sources to continue with this senseless war.
Zelensky was and is a liar in this point - possible, that he does not (want to) know it better and gets wrong figures to tell.
Now we'll see whether Western MSM stay silent again for weeks to try to make people forget the BS they published some days before.

The last figure (Jan. 14th, 2023) is 18,480 Russian casualities against 157,000 Ukrainian casualities.So what is your idea of Russian casualties?

My personal estimation was lower: 15k R. against 125k U.
37k Ukrainians are listed missing as Ukraine didn't - or couldn't - bring the bodies back.

You don't send untrained ill equipped boys to do mens work and expect them not to fail.
And if there were any thinking, experienced, men there, they would have assessed the situation fairly quickly and turned on their own faulty leadership.
