Looking for a UK broker that will offer Margin Lending of FTSE 100 stocks initially.
Looks to be a rare offering in the UK, compared to Australia where it's reasonably common among the larger retail providers.
To be clear I am NOT looking for a CFD provider. They are everywhere and I'm VERY happy with my broker as it stands for the provision of CFD's and spread betting services. My purpose requires physical stock not a synthetic position like that of a CFD.
So far I've only been able to find Interactive Brokers and had a chat with them today. Surely there must be others around? I do realise that it's a specialized niche but hey!
