FAQ Trading very low volume commodities on EEX

Hi,

I was wondering about:
1. Is anyone trading Agriculture commodities (processing potatoes, skimmed milk and butter) on the European Energy Exchange (EEX)?

2. These are extremely low volume, illiquid agri futures. And I was wondering what trading strategies might be appropriate for this type of market and instrument? Maybe point me in the direction of some good study resources on this subject.

I started out trading the Commodity Markets. 1st...Stay away for lite markets; ie: Live Hogs. I got caught in a LOCK-LIMIT down move for 3 days; $2000 p/contract. That hurt.

Look at:
Livestock and Meat
Metal
Agricultural (including corn, soybeans, wheat, rice, cocoa, coffee, cotton and sugar)

These are all fairly liquid markets and they are highly regulated. They trade thru the CBOT and the NYE

Spend some time looking for a good Broker; not all of them are good and make sure they have a good, and easy, trading platform.

I made a fair amount of money in Commodities but there is a down side to everything
