Trading for fun

Someone recently suggested members clubbing together to use their joint trading skills.
Reminded me of what a colleague of mine and his three (I think) friends do:
At the beginning of each month they all choose their investment. At the end of the month the one with the worst percentage gain pays for dinner for the four.
This could be done in any instrument as it is just the % gain. The investment can be "closed" anytime between start and finish.
I gave my mate Taylor Wimpey this month at about 18-19p but he closed it at around 23-24p.
Any thoughts?

May be that is a good trading but I think trading can never be a fun. It contains lots of stress and need lots of hard work and skills...
