Trading Elite Club (T.E.C) Discussion

Cheers Cuba, so basically it looks like he never responded to PP with regard to your request so you got an automatic refund, unfortunately it looks as if he did respond to mine, if that IS the case and PP decline my refund due to that I seriously CANNOT understand why it takes them OVER TWO WEEKS to do so!

If I get declined I WILL be addressing a County Court Summons to Paul & Andrew Chalmers, for me this is about BOTH the money and the principal, they WILL NOT get off lightly!

Can I just ask how long ago the above two posters lodged their refund request with Paypal?

Mine was initially lodged 0n 12/01/11 and they are currently saying that my case is being investigated by one of their 'claims specialists', and that I should hear something by 18/02/11, I will be REALLY pi$$ed off with PP if my refund is refused when others appear to be coming through at a fairly rapid rate.

Just another reason to despise the wannabe trader/fraud that is Paul Chalmers!

Case opened 25th January 2010

Case closed 5th February 2010

Reason used

Not as described.

Its not about the money, this feels great.

We must finish this criminal.Pappa c is no different from drug deals and crooks.

On average, how much have you guys lost...a hundred quid each?

Personally the Trading Elite Club along with Paul and Andrew Chalmers cost me £100 sub plus £140 (£200) in losses.

At the end of day two I was £60 in profit, at the end of day three, better known as Black Wednesday, my original trading account was showing a loss of £140, that was enough for me to take a (fortunate) step back to evaluate his 'service', boy I'm pleased that I did.

Don't get me wrong, it IS about the money, however I feel much more strongly regarding the principal of some muppet coming along thinking he can basically defraud individuals out of £100 per month by suggesting/proclaiming that he has the finished article signal service, when in actual fact all that he has is a membership that he is using as lab rats who are paying him and his affiliates a combined extortionate amount of money whilst he goes through a vain attempt of trying to create something worthwhile and profitable

I'm now trading in a small Skype group and our progress has been quite phenomenol to be honest, it's a tight group with no egos and everyone helps each other. We plan to have one more week on demo and then start live trading on Smart Live Markets, the future is looking very bright. (y)

So the cost for his service was 100 quid. What were you getting for your 100 quid, access to his calls/live trading *room* for a month, 25 quid a week?

Did any of you read this bit on their website before stumping up your kids 'piggy bank' money?

Trading in the Foreign Exchange market is a challenging opportunity where above average returns are available for educated and experienced investors who are willing to take above average risk. However, before deciding to participate in Foreign Exchange (FX) trading, you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience and risk appetite. Do not invest money you cannot afford to lose.

Where hypothetical or simulated performance results have certain inherent limitations. Unlike an actual performance record, simulated results do not represent actual trading. Also, since the trades have not actually been executed, the results may have under- or over-compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity. Just looking at his results, which he publishes quite freely, it appears to me he was attempting to scalp trade (in a range) against the trend when the markets were mainly trending. Real scalp trading can't be done by retail players at your level anyhow. But the pip loss was hardly catastrophic..puzzled as to what this 38 page thread is complaining about? Those results are not atypcial, they can happen to the best of us...

Anyone who signs up for this kind of thing is a prize tw@t anyhow, the bloke calls himself "Papa C" ffs, he came onto the main forums for a while pathetically pimping for business and was found our after a few posts, but I can't see the *crime* other than the fact that his recent results aren't good..fwiw as a swing trader I've recently been down 380 pips in a week to end up 1000+ (over a spread of 9 currency pairs)..

Quite strange how different people have different perceptions. He most certainly WAS NOT doing what you suggest above, in fact the complete opposite, he was attempting to swing trade in a range bound market, and clearly didn't recognise what the problem was, instead preferring to blame the 'crazy markets'.

There is absolutely no defence for what this idiot has done, and continues to do!

Nonsense, you obviously havn't got a clue, they're not the losses, or frequency of a swing trader, for example, I've had 3 swings this year on cable *offa* 4hr TF. I've had 2 EUR/USD swing trades went into my third (short) on Thursday, still haven't triggered for a cable short yet...

The market was crazy in as much as the Euro long swing defied gravity and the mumblings of the fundies in the MSM for 2 weeks +..

We all bow to your expert knowledge and experience Black Swan. I for one will admit to being a **** for subscribing to the con man we now know to be Paul Chalmers particularly on the recommendation of the very dubious Graham Laurie.

You have spectacularly missed the point here though.

The rage and anger expressed in this thread is caused by the outrageous deception and lies fabricated by Paul Chalmers and then hysterically promoted by Graham Laurie. To those of us who fell hook line and sinker for this there are plenty of valid opinions here as this con goes way beyond most "get rich quick" promotions.

Yes we are totally naIve but I think most of us were prepared to take a £100 punt until it was quickly discovered that Paul Chalmers had totally misrepresented himself and his 'service'.

The backlash would not be so vociferous if it had been not been such an audacious con which must be close to stepping over the Criminal Law line.
