The Next US President

Now I know what an argument supposed to be. Funny that, learn something new everyday

Google it see what hits you get!!! Can't believe you haven't heard about it.

Should be interesting contest against Hillary if she gets picked for the democrats.

Wonder how he'll deal with Yellen too???

:whistling

I missed your response to this. :whistling

The UK does not follow the same policy. Why is it that a country that rarely goes to war, never gives aid on the same level as the US and when it does go to war it sends a scant amount of troops more as a token than as actual help. Having said that, why would a country like that need to spend close to the same proportion of its GDP on a war chest as the US?

What's does your last post have anything to do with the primary elections?

What are you arguing now? Are you trying to let the UK government know how to fight and win wars like the US in Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraq? What is your point?

Trying to get back on track here. Are you going to write an angry letter to Mr Trump or has your opinion of his use of the English language changed in any way?

It is ironic that you mention the UK fighting wars when they send a scant amount of troops to fight anyway. The UK defense budget is obviously not being spent on wars or troops because they do not seem to want to use them. Why would a country need to spend nearly the same percentage of its GDP on a military that it rarely uses as the US, which frequently uses its military. Talk about a waste of money. All dressed up and nowhere to go.

The US ****-up in Iraq cost the UK over 450 servicemen killed and many more seriously injured in case you forget. Blair did nicely out of it though. We should have stayed out as the US politicians believe their own rhetoric. For instance they are so tough etc. Only human like the rest of us I regret to say.

This geezer has a fixation on the UK. All roads lead to UK & Birgmingham sort of thing.

If I recall correctly in the first month of the war, we had more troops killed by friendly fire than by the enemy. Even a Jaguar fighter plane with friendly ID was shot down on its way back from a sortie.

Anyhow, I'm thinking the contest between Trump and Hillary should turn out to be good entertainment value. (y)

My money would obviously be on Hilary and the Clintons. :)

I hope the Clintons manage to beat Trump. However there still seem to be some awkward questions concerning Hillary's emails to answer. Their lies from the past might scupper them.
Trump seems to me the sort of guy that might do outrageous things but they will be costly. He looks set to become another family political clan like the Bushes and Kennedys if he gets to the finishing line.
His idea of the religions paying for the damage their extremists do perhaps isn't such a bad idea. Why should the general public suffer bomb outrages and then have to pay to clear up the debris ?
People preaching hate ought to go to prison for as many years as it takes them to reconsider their loathsome ideologies imho.

Issue with government is it is there to protect interests of it's citizens.

Some people have the idea it should be run on the same basis as a capitalist business venture making money.

There lies the crux of big issues and debate.

Also, a good leader needs to represent all it's people not just the few. That goes for socialist and capitalists with their biases.

Get the balance right and we may get optimal government.

I seem to remember a quote from he past saying something like the US system seems to have been especially invented to give politicians a smaller say as possible in the running of the country.
Has the thorny issue of declaring war by the President and/or Congress been resolved yet ?

Totally agree with you

Running and overseeing a country and its people is totally different to running a profitable business - whether just turning a profit of 1 million per year or even 1 billion

Trump is smart - he's clever - he's not got to where he is nowadays - with what about 3 attempted bankruptcies behind him without being brilliant at doing something right

So for running a business etc - Trump - to run a country - absolutely no way

First of all - he only would think of himself and the a small percentage of the population - ie me me me me me and a bit what's left for you

He's divisive - not just on religion but with woman as well - and he for sure got a massive mindset problem - stalking as well etc etc

He would take the USA back about 5 decades in terms of world relations

He's brilliant at marketing etc - but also with BS

Would I trust him - even just a little bit - no way

Do I like him - yes - he's a larger than life character with a chip on both shoulders - he needs taking down a lot really - if he ever did make President - he would be assassinated within his first year

PS - I am far more conservative than Labour / socialist - but an arrogant dictator who's just after the extra buck is just not my cup of tea ;-)

That is a fallacy of compostion and of division. A mixture of things does not make something better. The best of both worlds is a fallacious statement. taking the supposedly best parts of one thing and mixing them with the best things of another does not matter something even better.

I would not expect you guys to understand concepts in logic. All @Atilla can do is mudsling. I am not angry at you, I pity someone you for being able to articulate yourself well enough. That must be where you anger issues stem from.

Well at least you provide me with good entertainment @Atilla and @Forexmospherian

Now I can behave just like you guys.

Hey ! Sling some mud over here, I feel left out !

Like I said, it was an homage to @Atilla's behavior. Post ridiculous pictures and call people names. Don't forget to lace your statements with as many fallacies as possible.

Forget to mention in my comment

hhiusa - are you related to Trump in any way ? - you have a similar mindset and traits ?.

ie - clever - wind up merchant - problem with mindset - and not understanding other people who might not be American or are not multi millionaires and are 80 % of the real world who to you just don't matter - after all what can they give to you - they are therefore of no use ?

Sums both of you up very well I reckon ;-)

The only rude reference is effed up. Would it surprise you to know the royal family have been known to use the 'F' word too? It is merely an expression.

The others aren't rude. Just simply cultural slang words. As you are not very cultured, sadly you're ignorant to the very far and diverse life that I have grown up in so I don't expect you to understand but only sneer at from your castle in gold fish bowl.

However, my point stands, and you are obviously having trouble comprehending despite your self-claimed superior grasp of language.

Trump's use of words are very derogatory to say the least as well as vile and condescending. You haven't heard about the controversy and totally ignore valid points made about the primary elections.

And now you seem to have moved on from UK statistics to this blurb below.

WTF does this mean?

Most cocktails are a mixture of drinks and taste delicious.

Think of the food you eat and how bland it would be if it wasn't mixed. So what you state without qualifying your prior assumptions in its application is pure b0ll0cks but that's just my opinion...

Now I expect you to ignore my two valid points which refutes your comprehension but focus on the use of my b0ll0cks instead. ;)

Watching sky news and I hear this.

Trump says - Make America great again!

By my logic this means - America is not great now!

Have I got the wrong end of the stick here. :?:

Fallacy of false authority. Who cares what the royal family does! They are just a bunch of inbred relics living in the modern age. Royals have always had a higher level of inbreeding because they supposedly wanted to keep the bloodline pure. They end up sleeping with family instead of those so called non-blood related commoners. The average inbreeding of a human in England 5%, whereas the royal family has about 20% inbreeding.

I know that you do not think they are rude. That is because you have no manners, nor a command of the English language apparently. They are still pejorative and said with malice, hence the anger issues.

However, my point stands, and you are obviously having trouble comprehending despite your self-claimed superior grasp of language.

You never really made a point. I am not necessarily arguing for Trump. I am just arguing against you and for decent intelligent debate. Trump is a wind-up artist. It is a very shrewd strategy to get free media attention for your campaign by acting as a lightning rod for the party. Commercials do the same thing. You create an extremely outlandish commercial which has almost nothing to do with the product, but it will be quite memorable. When people go to the store to buy a product, they are more likely to buy your product because it is more memorable. The product does not have to even be better. There will always be stupid people in the world. There is no crime in using known facts of the world like most people are stupid to your advantage. Trump has capitalized upon this quite well.

And now you seem to have moved on from UK statistics to this blurb below.

 Statistics where? Try logic!

Mixing metaphors! What prior assumptions have not been qualified. There are not any assumptions that need to be qualified. Logic does not qualify things as that is irrelevant and subjective. This further illustrates your lack of knowledge around logical tautologies.

Now I expect you to ignore my two valid points which refutes your comprehension but focus on the use of my b0ll0cks instead. ;)

What valid points? Highlight them! There are none to be had. Cultured people do not write WTF.

@Forexmospherian's last post made more sense than yours.

See what you want and see what you don't. Nice.

Nuff said I fink.

There it is. Defense mechanism no. 2. You use noncommittal responses. It was pretty simple.

You use foul and pejorative language. Your excuse was that the royal family does it sometimes. Why does it matter if the queen uses it? Royals are inbred entitled relics.

It is a fallacy of false authority because you were trying to cite the royal family as if they have relevance. Citing the royal family is no better than citing your neighbors or your grandparents.

WTF is rarely used to mean "what's that for?", especially since it would be grammatically incorrect in those instances in which you used it.
