I have got round to often only putting lines on my chart of a Sunday evening, and not really changing anything until the next week. Only a few per pair (just put on the really obvious ones, sometimes there won't be any, and that's perfectly fine, sometimes it'll be 3 or 4 over multiple TFs, as Bramble says "If you can't see it, it's not there." Personally, daily, 4h and sometimes hourly, but I guess you can do whatever.
What I suggest is this: get an MT4 demo account, draw your lines on a Sunday night, just a half dozen pairs day, then leave it for a week, forget about it. Then, if you're anything like me, mid morning Sunday, you'll be bored as **** because the markets are shut and you've recovered from being shattered all the time. So then you can open your charts, and see if your lines held.
I'm not saying they will, and i'm not saying that they're better than drawing random lines, but I do think it might be a useful exercise for only a small amount of effort.
