I'm pleased to announce an updated forum group structure for T2W. This has been up and running a few days but is now ready to be officially announced.
The idea is that members have a clear understanding of precisely who's involved in the running of the website and specifically the forums. Also an advantage of a clear separation of groups, is that enables a simple progression from member to advisor and advisor to moderator status which will help ensure in the future we have sufficient resource to ensure the smooth running and prosperity of the forums, and ultimately the site.
Here's a run down of the different groups:
Leader (Sharky)
The Leader is the owner of T2W and the person with overall authority over the website, forums, staff, advisors and moderators. (That's me btw :cheesy: )
Staff (rossored, EK1, JillyB, iskandar, Erubboli)
The Staff are paid members employed by T2W to perform some specific role such as editorial, advertising or technical work.
Moderators (barjon,counter_violent, Lightning McQueen, Profitaker)
The Moderators are senior members who have been granted administrative powers to moderate the forums and enforce the T2W site guidelines.
Advisors (Arbitrageur, firewalker99, peto, timsk, trendie, wasp, GammaJammer)
The Advisors are members who help with the smooth running of the forums. They are tasked with helping newbies, reporting offending posts and providing private feedback to the T2W Leader, Staff and Moderators about how best to improve the site.
The Leader, Staff, Moderators and Advisors all have a different coloured username and adjacent badge next to their posts to identify their status (see preview below). If you hover your mouse over the badge you can read a description of what it means and click through to the groups page here: T2W Trading Forums - Show Groups NB This contains a complete up-to-date list of all group members.
