Dear all,
I have just subscribed to this site and found it very informative and nicely done. I am new in trading FX so I think I can learn a lot from here. Does anyone have any suggestions about any materials regarding guide to FX trading or anywhere I can get free reports and market analysis or anything that I can download form the internet or any website?

HI,
thanks to everybody who bothered to answer me specially commanderco, SRG and Fabianov. I have also come across a website through a friend of mine. It is called safelimited.com. They have a trading signal forecast which is fortunately free. I have registered with them and from last Thursday I ahve managed to make a few hundred bucks using their signals. It is very good and it gives you the result of previous day trading signals. Well maybe it is worth you guys having look at it and let me know what you think. Maybe I was just lucky.
Thanks again. Cheers

I have not done OPtions trading on FOREX, does anyone here do it? If so which broker do you use?
any suggestions? I use IB at the mo, but they do quotes but no options. I do options strategies on US Stocks a lot, can similar strategies work on Forex? - Will greatly appreciate if any of you guys can guide me

I've lost my link to a forex breakout strategy posted on t2w. I think it was for the 9am to 10am range and I think it was posted by Johnny T. I've pm'd Johnny to see if he recollects it and I would be grateful if any member with whom it rings a bell could let me know where to access it. I've had no luck using the search facility.

Am needing help as am a rookie

hi,

have just recently bought and studied a course on daily trading the forex.

Was wondering if there was a book/course that discusses/teaches different strategies for trading forex over a longer period of time.

Some days there seems to be no trades especially in a low pip movement on the currencies pairs that i am dealing with. However, a longer trend movement over a few days is obvious but would not know which indicators to use to make a decision.

Many thanks for any help that you can give.

I would recommend you check out 'Bird Watching In Lion Country' by Dirk du Toit, which provides an excellent overview of the forex market, along with the basic building blocks of a medium-term, low-leveraged methodology.

Not everything is TA

Hey guys, do you think technical analysis is more suited for Forex than equities? It seems like allot of people using technical analysis indicators such as RSI, MACD, WMAs, etc. for buy/sell signals.

Thank you

Not all successful traders use technical analysis. In my opnion, indicators are all lagging. They cannot suggest what will happen. No one knows, except God. The indicators are just another way to read the chart in a more simplified way. It will show you how the market is behaving. But in no way will it show what will happen.

Now many other traders use simple strategies that do not rely on TA. One of these strategies are breakout strategies. These strategies are quite successful and do not need extensive TA. Some do not use any indictaors.

Good Luck

I agree. Market Wizards is a great book. Definitely worth reading. I realised that the world's top traders often have very different styles.

Good luck with your trading too.
