The T2W Email Service is now live!

User's who wish to sign up for there own @t2w.com domain need to go to this url:

http://www.trade2win.co.uk/boards/register.php?action=mailsignup

There are instructions here as to what email account name you may choose.

Then to start using the new Email Service, please go the following url:

http://mail.t2w.com

Eventually the service will be offered automatically at registration and promoted more heavily on the site - but to begin with we're keen to hear feedback about the service from our existing members.

The TOP 10 benefits of using a @t2w.com include:

1. Easy to use and FAST!
2. Powerful WYSIWYG editor.
3. Fully supports HTML messages and attachments with outgoing messages.
4. Address Book to store all your friends email addresses.
5. Save outgoing messages and send them later.
6. Powerful message rules and spam filtering system.
7. 5 MB of free space.
8. Easy to remember 3 letter email domain name
9. Choose either your existing username or a new name not already registered on T2W. Your password is the same both the Trade2Win website and your mail.T2W.com account.
10. We'll tell you if you've received a new email (and how many)while browsing the Trade2Win website - just like the existing new posts/threads stats. (Coming soon!)

Essentially it's similar to a hotmail or yahoo account but without the automatic spam you often get when using these types of email accounts.

We hope you enjoy this new service which is completely FREE.

Thanks MW, glad you like it.

We've already had 8 members sign up for it since it's launch which is very encouraging.

Those who are using it, please let me know what you think.

Hi Sharky,

I'm impressed also.

I needed more web mail space as my Yahoo Box is getting full so it served a good purpose.

My only reservation is how good is the backup regimen? I would hate to lose data.

Thanks

JonnyT: We backup our servers every night, as do our web hosting company - so there shouldn't be any risk of losing data.

Newtron: Unfortunately not. But it would be possible to set this up for a small set-up charge and annual fee. And rather than use http://mail.t2w.com we would need to set up a different web based email client - however it would work with any pc/mac email client like Outlook.

Great, thanks Newtron.

I'll be rolling out integration with the Trade2Win website over this weekend, so that you'll know from the front page whether you've received any new emails.

Hi Sharks.
Each time I try to read an e mail I keep getting sent back to the log in page and a time zone message comes up. Any idea's m8.

Sorry, but I did tell you that this internet stuff gets tested to the limit with me. If anything can go wrong, it will.

(Anyone want any systems tested.)

Hi Options,

That does sound strange! Can you email or pm me your password, and I'll try logging in as you - see if I get the same problem. Also let me know what version browser.pc you're using (or at least refresh my memory!).

At least once we get it working on your machine, I can feel pretty sure it will work on most!

Cheers,

Hi Sharky,
It appears to be an aol browser prob. When I use IE all is okay. So I shall have to use IE from now on. I sometimes forget it's there as I don't normally have any problems with aol.

Hi Sharky,

I've tried the last few days to send replies to emails. I get a server error every time and have had to create a new emails to get round this.
