Hi Guys, I've just joined and I know nothing about shares so sorry if I'm toning down our forum here.
I've spent a bit of time browsing the London Stock Exchange and I see that the only commodities there are Precious metals:
Gold AM Fixing
Gold PM Fixing
Platinum AM Fix
Platinum PM Fix
Silver Price (cents)
Palladium AM Fix
Palladium PM Fix
Oil (ICE)
Brent Crude Futures - North Sea -
WTI Crude Futures - WTI - Mar14
Just browsing the papers now and again I see Steel listed as a commodity, and what about Uranium?
Is it possible just to purchase commodities in just one country (UK ideally) or does one have to purchase a commodity on the worldwide market?
I guess you don't get any dividends as a commodity.
Greatful of any guidance.
