Does anyone remember the old Westerns where a few horsemen stampeded cattle down the high street, then taking the town?

That is what is happening in Europe, now, with the refugees as the cattle and ISIS, mingling with them, as the horsemen (terrorists).

Anyone pointing this out is labelled as a right-wing radical.

Germany is proudly saying how they are allowing in 800,000. Germany will be sorry. The refugees are going to put a bigger strain on the social welfare structure of the country than it realises, Other countries in the Union will be borrowing, once again, but Germany won't have the money, next time.

The tragedy is that the majority of these people want and deserve a better life for themselves and their families. All this is what ISIS wants. Another enemy that cannot afford a war.

Just been watching Catalonia on the news. A lot of noise and exuberance.
OK so the Govt. in Madrid isn't too good but I can't help feeling as with Scotland a complete breakaway would be bad for all but the few that get power.

A much better solution would be a Federal system where the local affairs are handled locally by a local parliament. The bigger issues such as foreign policy, armed forces etc. would be made by central Government in Madrid.

To have another Basque type war surely doesn't suit the majority.

That is a real concern, the fact that ISIS members are entering Europe in the guise of refugees. The threat is very real.

The issue of being called a right winger I see as something different. Most people are blaming the refugees, attacking them verbally and I have even read posts where some people would be ready to attack them given the opportunity. There was no mass immigration before the west decided to get involved in the middle east. As a result they feel obligated to take them in after destroying their homes. The two go hand in hand.

The political ties and relationships prevent the US from dealing with the problem at source, which I believe is Saudi Arabia. Dealing with the House of Saud will eliminate a lot of the wests problems, as most of the terrorists are funded by the Prince to keep them busy outside of their own country.

The question we should all be asking is why are we allowing the Arabs to export their problems to our land so they can have peace in theirs?

Why do we want to sacrifice our sons in the name of patriotism when it is all an illusion?

I have lived here for 52 years and the Catalan question has always been kicked under the carpet, by Madrid, for the next lot to solve. There is not much to say until after the elections, on the 27th.

However, Madrid has had it coming. The polls give the Indepentistas 52%. Very close, but you know how accurate polls are. IMO, there would have to be another referendum, they could not go independent on election results, especially if they are so close. However, many have a different view.

Fun and games ahead!
