Slow site

Is it just me, or is T2W incredibly slow over past couple of days?

The only thing I have changed is swapping over from AVG to Avast.

really, really, slow page refreshes.
bbc.co.uk is fine. as are other sites, such as channel4.com. (as comparatives)

so its T2W, not my machine?
