Repetitive notifications of responses to subscribed threads

I have been sent the same notifications to threads I am subscribed to 4 times this morning. If this is happening universally it may well explain the slow page responses. Access to the "front page" is quick enough but access "internally " is dreadful

Might be worth turning them all off, have a clear out and reset them.

Ron, are you still getting multiple notifications or did Oatman's advice help? Are the boards just as slow to navigate as they were last week?
