Hi, This issue came up today but was fine yesterday. Half of the avatars don't display and when looking at properties they read the gif images as html/text and for size they read unknown (not cached).

This is fine but what's not is I can't see charts on this forum (but can on others that I've checked). I've tried IE7, Mozilla and Netscape...looked at many posts on the issue but am still clueless as to why they have stopped displaying (just a small white box when it says attached thumbnails). It was all working yesterday and the only change I can think of was installing windows updates (for office and mediaplayer10 I believe).

I can see a few gif images like graemanash's but not Trader_Dante's and most others and I can see pictures of any size but not charts

Please help, I was in the middle of studying some long chart posts here.

I blame Microsoft (usual suspects)

This is driving me crazy, i've spent 10 hours trying everything to fix this basic issue. I've installed netscape, mozilla, opera, flash, shockwave, i've turned all options for popup blockers, virus and antispyware off, downloaded and installed 2 gif registry fixes, checked and rechecked the browser settings for gif images, mouse scrolling and privacy settings, i've been to the joke microsoft windows help page and tried their 5 weak "solutions" and i've been through hundreds of threads and still i'm no closer to an answer and all I want to do is view some basic graphs in old gif format!

I don't understand why both my pc's only have an issue with this forum (I checked 2 others and have seen hundreds of images displayed without fault during my searches). If anyone knows why this is or what is different about attached images and avatars displayed on this forum please, tell me!

I am getting no avatars and LM said they were having technical issues on the site but I am getting all the charts. Strange.

PM lightening McQueen directly, he should be able to answer your queries.

Ah, thx for the reply I hope it is server side (although I wasted alot of time trying to fix) at least it will work.

As far as I can tell the techies have prevailed and have fixed custom avatars, profile pics, signatures and the all important uploaded charts within threads
