recs for laptops

can anyone vouch for a good laptop for trading purposes?...reliability and mobility is important....am heading down the mac path although i hear there will be software compatibility issues there should be ways around this right?...or is it best to stick with windows?

A spinner who loves you dearly is an excellent laptop candidate.

i have a mac, trade on virtualised windows 7. If I had a dedicated trading computer it'd be a Thinkpad T series

On HP with i5, 6G RAM, 750G Disk running x_trader. Is fine and dandy.

Well any lappy can work as long as you are profitable. Focus on the core..
