RAM upgrade causing monitor problems

We've just added a RAM upgrade to the pc but now the monitor has stopped working, saying it is not receiving a signal. We've tried removing the upgrade again but it still won't work. Has anyone got any idea what's going wrong?

Reseat the graphics card.

Reseat the RAM chips.

PS Make sure you are not wearing nylon pants. Discharge your self by touching the power supply unit before you touch the components. ESD Electro Static Discharge can harm the health of your computer.

First guess wuld be that you've dislodged the gfx card
