I just noticed that the CMC price for Dow Jones are always nearly 20 points lower, compared with the price on finance.google.co.uk.

Do you find this problem of CMC? Do they manipulate market price?

most spreadbetters do manipulate the price, they price around the actual market, the only one out there that dont is Futuresbetting.com

Yes ...and the silly brigade then go on to tell us that SB charts don't match the real market charts.

:mad:Well trade the SB chart then !!!

General post

I fail to see how any of this is a problem.

Pick the correct time of day to trade your instruments.
Pick highly liquid instruments to trade.
Always have a reliable chart provider as your reference.
Avoid trading at the wrong time of day...thin markets.
Use the various orders they provide to your advantage.

Bleating on about level playing field is a waste of time....find a way around it.
If a way round it cannot be found...then either you are not good enough at finding a solution...inexperienced...failing to do the work...and if all else fails... close the account and move on.

It's all a big conspiracy, they're all out to get me.

Spreadbetters stole my £2.50!

This is so funny.
When will people realise that SB firms squire there quotes to benefit them selfs and not the client?
The decide not to fill you then decide not to execute pricess quoted if they have squired them too much.
This is a joke, however its a good business as many traders fall for the tricks.

I guess the thing to do is watch every trade like a hawk. Don't use automated stop-losses, use mental ones. That way you can pick your moment to exit a trade. One thing I've noticed about CMC Markets is that there can be massive slippage and delay filling trades that always seem to benefit them and not the client. Not good really...

Noticed CMC are less 0.0020 on the EUR/USD at the moment. Why the difference? I guess their supercomputers can calculate all the shorts/longs on the instrument and work out the best for CMC? Bit confusing really. Are futuresbetting really the only direct market prices in the spread betting world!?
