One Trade a Week

I'm liking some of these trade ideas. After careful consideration I am going to choose:

Brent Crude Oil futures.
Direction: Short.

Entry at the first available opportunity around 115.90.
SL @ 118
Target price 113.00

Middle East tension is the obvious geopolitical risk here but so long as the unrest doesn't spread to Saudi Arabia supply concerns and a firmer dollar should take crude down.

Final answer. haha.

I'm the only bear in the room then...

not that I'm paranoid or anything but come on theres got to be one more miserable git out there :devilish:

Haha I'm sure there are plenty of bears out there but it's non farm payrolls week and awesome numbers are expected. Stock indices will probably climb in anticipation of Fridays event, plus last week was the best week in 2 months for US stocks.

yeah? well I normally see it as a great big FOR SALE sign:LOL:

I jest of course, got to be honest though, I've always had more success fading the good news as the market realises, "meh is that it?" and sells off

Plus I'm loaded up to the bull side already so a bear is just the ticket!
cheers

Hi David,

Perhaps you could find the average R:R of winners and losers. There may be some interesting facts lurking in the statistics ?

Hi David,

I could do. I've been keeping a sharp ratio for the people that have done it since week 1 to see what the risk adjusted return is of the traders. So I can send you yours if you'd like?
