New post alerts?

Is there a way to get alerted when a thread has a new post? It's tedious having to check it manually then seeing there wasn't.

If not, can this be installed somehow?

Hi myattitude,
At the top of each thread there's the option to subscribe to it if you want to. Then, click on 'Settings' (top right of the main red header panel), scroll down to the 'Settings & Options' box on the left of the page and then to 'Edit Options'. Then scroll down to the box entitled 'Messaging & Notification' where you'll find 'Default Thread Subscription Mode' which gives you the option to be alerted to new posts.
